Pre-Breeding Health Checks

Before breeding, it’s essential to ensure that both the male and female animals are in optimal health. We conduct thorough pre-breeding exams, including genetic screening, disease testing, and overall wellness assessments. For dogs and cats, we also offer progesterone testing to pinpoint the ideal time for mating.

Artificial Insemination & Reproductive Assistance

For our canine breeders we not only provide artificial insemination services but can provide semen collection and shipping as well as semen freezing for stud dogs.

For frozen semen insemination, we can provide trans cervical insemination in the conscious dog (previously frozen semen insemination was a surgical procedure requiring general anaesthesia).

Pregnancy Monitoring & Support

Once pregnancy is confirmed, our veterinarians can offer ultrasound scans and X-rays to monitor foetal development and determine the litter size. We also provide nutritional guidance, prenatal care, and advice to ensure a healthy pregnancy for your pet or livestock.

Whelping & Birthing Assistance

For high-risk pregnancies or first-time mothers, we offer whelping and foaling support, as well as Caesarean section (C-section) services when necessary. Our goal is to ensure a safe delivery for both mother and offspring.

Postnatal Care & Neonatal Support

After birth, we provide postnatal checks to ensure the health of both mother and newborns. We can also advise on newborn care, vaccinations, deworming, and early socialisation.

If you’re considering breeding your pet or livestock, contact us today for expert guidance and veterinary support at every stage of the process.
